Standlynch Aberdeen-Angus
DIRECTIONS TO STANDLYNCH FARM: Please note : Whilst our post code is now SP5 3QU it may not be recognised. If this is the case use SP5 3QR for sat nav and this should get you to our old farm buildings - “Old Standlynch Farm” From Salisbury: Take the A36 out of Salisbury towards Southampton. 1 mile from the TESCO roundabout is the start of the ALDERBURY bypass. At the start of this turn RIGHT on the old road to Alderbury. After half a mile FORK RIGHT where signposted to Downton. The Old farm is 3 miles from this turning (spot the new barn conversions), at the bottom of a hill on the LHS. Go to the top of the hill, then go past (all on the RHS): The Lodge, the entrance to Trafalgar Park and then 500 yards further on, around one further (long) right hand bend is the entrance to (new) Standlynch Farm on your RIGHT. OR From Downton: Come to Downton on the A338 from Salisbury or Ringwood. From the traffic lights on the main (Bournemouth) road, turn up into the village, and carry on for about a mile. You go past the large brick building of the former tannery on the LHS now converted into houses, and then after another 200 yards turn LEFT down BARFORD LANE, just after the Newsagents also on LHS, and opposite a piece of grass with a bench. If coming from the Forest turn 2nd right soon after the traffic lights at the pinch point on Lode Hill when coming down into the village. We are about two miles down this road. After going down a steep hill with a nasty double bend, the road goes up to a sharp right bend. The entrance to Standlynch Farm is then 300 yards further on your LEFT.
